SERVERS:

The Walpack Inn is hiring experienced servers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Most holidays are required. The work is very fast-paced and heavy carrying is necessary. In addition to excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude, all applicants must have some serving experience to be considered for the position. A PREP/LINE COOK:

The Walpack Inn is hiring a prep/line cook on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Approximately 40 hours/ week). Most holidays will also be required. This job requires one to be able to broil in a fast-pace, high volume cook station. A resume and references are required to apply for this position.

A HOST:

The Walpack Inn is hiring an experienced host on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Approximately 25-30 hours/ week). Most holidays will also be required. Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership, multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills. We prefer someone with prior experience, but would also be willing to train an applicant with limited experience that demonstrates well-developed people skills necessary for the customer service industry. Host Responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers in a friendly manner as they approach the desk

  • Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods

  • Manage a wait list & seat reservations as well as walk-in parties as tables become available

  • Manage conflicts positively as necessary

  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment

  • Answer phones and schedule reservations

  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

  • Process payments using POS computers & credit card machines

  • Assist with end of night managerial tasks

COOK’S ASSISTANT

The Walpack Inn is looking for a cook’s assistant on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Approximately 25-30 hours/ week). Most holidays will also be required. The work is fast-paced and heavy carrying is necessary. We prefer someone with an interest in food prep, such as a student or one with some experience in the kitchen. Pay will be based on experience.

DISHWASHER

The Walpack Inn is looking for dishwashers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Approximately 25-30 hours/ week). Most holidays will also be required. The rate of pay will start at $10.00/ hour. The work is fast-paced and some heavy carrying is necessary. This is a great entry level position! Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

BUSSER

The Walpack Inn is looking for bussers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Approximately 25-30 hours/ week). Most holidays will also be required. This is a great entry level position! Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
